If a Emerald Tax Services preparer makes an error while providing tax preparation services to a client, Emerald Tax Services will reimburse the customer for any penalty or interest incurred as a result of the error. In addition, a representative from Emerald Tax Services office will appear, at no charge, with the customer at an audit to explain how the return was prepared. However if there was no error and the client is being audited for the proof of deductions that are being claimed on the returns, professional fees may apply.
